Dunbar Primary School where celebrating their first win ever at the Mid & East Lothian Primary School Badminton Quaich which took place on Wednesday 21st January at Meadowmill Sports Centre.
Dunbar, Law, Longniddry, Kings Meadow and Stoneyhill Primary Schools all competed in the recent event and after some very close and exciting matches Dunbar came out on top winning all their matches, second place went to Law Primary and third position Longniddry Primary.
Dunbar Primary will now go forward to represent Mid and East Lothian at the Scottish Schools Gibb Memorial Primary Quaich which will be held on Sunday 22nd February at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Centre, Motherwell.
East Lothian Badminton Development Officer Christine Black was delighted with the fun and competitive spirit amongst the pupils and also wishes to thank staff, coaches and parents who assisted and supported throughout the afternoon.
