Rachel wins doubles title

At the Glasgow International Youth Badminton Championships Musselburgh’s Rachel Cameron set the feathers flying in the individual event when she and her partner from Stonehaven, Maria Leith beat the top Swedish pair in the U13 girls doubles to take their first doubles title.

At the same event Longniddry’s Junior U15 Internationalist Shona Whillans had been invited with Rachel Lu (Edinburgh) to be part of Team Forza which lifted the U15 International Team title.
