Scotland’s young badminton prospects impressive at Milton Keynes.
Scotland’s young badminton prospects turned in another set of impressive performances in the U15 Gold event held recently at Milton Keynes.
Musselburgh’s Rachel Cameron following on from her fine bronze medal win at the recent European Championships led the way by winning the Gold Star girls singles beating her team-mate Rachel Sugden (Glasgow)in the final. Earlier in the day she defeated doubles partner Rachel Andrew (Edinburgh) in the semi final in an event dominated by the Scottish girls.
As a bonus Cameron and Andrew were also on the podium in the girls doubles after finishing runners-up while Andrew and Adam Pringle (Glasgow) were runners up in the mixed doubles.
