Competition was fierce and local schools had great fun at their latest festivals.
Hockey Festival were held at the end of the 2012 Summer term. The Preston Lodge hockey P6 cluster festival was held at Meadowmill Sports Centre and attended by over 100 pupils from St Gabriel's and Prestonpans Primary Schools. Students from Edinburgh’s Telford College helped out at the festival, umpiring the games and coaching the children. Festivals were also be held in the Dunbar and Haddington clusters. Also in May the annual Regional Hockey Finals, took place at Meadowmill. Two teams from the Lothians and Borders took part to win the coverted trophy. Windygoul and Gullane represented East Lothian this year after winning the qualifying P7 tournament in October 2011.
