Musselburgh Grammar School Gymnasts - 3rd Place in the British Gymnastics Schools Floor and Vault Championships
Earlier this year, Musselburgh Grammar School along with 3 other Scottish teams qualified for the British Schools Floor and Vault Championships. The Championships took place on Sunday 3rd May 2015 at Fenton Manor, Stoke-on-Trent with schools from around the UK taking part.
Gymnasts Amy Mee, Aimee Givan, Fraser McLeod, Adam Souter and Stewart Macintosh made up the team. They competed in the U19’s Mixed Team Competition where they finished in 3rd place with a total score of 111. All 5 gymnasts compete on floor and vault with the top 4 scores on each piece counting towards the final score.
