An Introduction to Musical Theatre
Welcome to the world of Musical Theatre – let your inner diva out and explore the drama in a variety of different musicals in this fun workshop as part of the Arts Summer Activities 2015 programme.
It will look at singing/voice technique and discuss what makes a good musical theatre performer. Then try out a few songs from different musicals (Wicked, Matilda, Joseph, Starlight Express, Billy Elliot, Les Miserables, Grease, Mamma Mia) and choose a favourite song or two to focus in on prepare and perform a finished routine.
