Open to juniors in P7 - S6 with official handicaps that live in East Lothian

2023/24 Junior Golf East Lothian (Schools) Order of Merit Events

Format:  Stableford  (Handicap counting)

Price:   Free of charge

Criteria: 

- open to players that have an official handicap

- live in East Lothian

- attend school in East Lothian

AND

- are a member of a golf club in East Lothian

Closing date for entries:  1 week prior but please book in advance as times are limited

These events will count towards handicap and are a mix of 18 and 9 holes depending on the light and are only open to players with official handicaps.

13. Fri 8^th March @ Gullane Golf Club

16. Mon 6^th May Final @ Renaissance

Entry Criteria

• Players must have an official handicap
• Attend school and/or live in East Lothian
• Be a member of a golf club in East Lothian

Format

• Strokeplay Stableford
• Closing date for entries:  Friday prior to competition date
• Each event will count towards handicap so is an opportunity for players to get an official card in
• There will be 3 competition divisions – Scratch, Handicap and Team (2 net scores per school count to school team total)
• Points will be awarded at each competition towards the Junior Golf East Lothian Order or Merit (1^st: 100, 2^nd:  75, 3^rd: 50, 4^th: 25, 5^th: 10, Attendance: 5)
• Entry: Free

Pro Am Teams

We hope to invite the winners of the Scratch and Handicap Order of Merit divisions to represent East Lothian Council in any Pro Am team or clinic opportunties we obtain at Pro events.
