The 2014 Kwik Cricket season wrapped up on Sunday September 7th at Bass Rock Cricket Club in North Berwick.
The 2014 Kwik Cricket season wrapped up on Sunday September 7th at Bass Rock Cricket Club, where teams from Bass Rock CC, Gifford CC and Gullane CC battled for the title of 2014 East Lothian Kwik Cricket Champions.
Bass Rock Cricket Club was once again the perfect host, with hot drinks and cream scones for spectators and fun activities for the children on the sidelines. It was a hard fought competition between defending champions Gifford, this-season-unbeaten Bass Rock and in-form Gullane. After the round robin, these three teams finished on the same amount of points which meant it came down to the total runs scored by each team in the tournament. Gullane, just ahead of Bass Rock, were announced the winners and each participating team awarded three players a certificate for an outstanding contribution of any kind to their team on the day.
