2021 East Lothian Junior Golf Opens

for any Junior Golfer with a handicap

There are lots of Junior Opens planned at clubs across East Lothian during the summer holidays. 

These are a great way to play our fantastic local courses for just £5 - £10 and count towards handicap. 

Players also have a chance to win prizes in both Scratch and Handicap Divisions.  Juniors are encourage to enter these events and make use of these low cost peak time tee times.

We will be piloting a Summer Order of Merit across these events to encourage participation in as many as possible.  Clubs will be asked to share their results with East Lothian Council’s Golf Development Office, Kate Green, will then allocate points to East Lothian based players that position in the top 5 of the Scratch and Handicap divisions.  The success of this will depend on the numbers of East Lothian juniors that enter the junior opens and clubs sharing their results.
