Dunbar Primary finished in a very creditable 3rd position at the Scottish Schools Primary Quaich.
Mid and East Lothian Primary Badminton Champions Dunbar Primary finished in a very creditable 3rd position at the Scottish Schools Primary Quaich which was held recently at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Centre.
Nine schools from all over Scotland contested the final which was in a round robin format and for the third year running Brunstfield Primary (Edinburgh) retained their title, with Glebe Primary (Ayrshire) finishing in runner up position followed by Dunbar Primary in third place. This was a great achievement for the East Lothian School with several of their team members only in Primary 4 /5 and one of their top players Gregor Ronan unavailable to play.
East Lothian Badminton Development Officer Christine Black would like to congratulate the team on their fine performance and thanks must go to the parents for all their support and a special mention to Duncan Campbell who acted as Team Manager/Coach throughout the event.
