Dirleton and Gullane Primary Schools play their first club hockey matches together.
Dirleton and Gullane Primary Schools joined forces last week to play some freindly hockey games as part of the Primary Team Sports programme (PTS), which has been running in East Lothian for several months. The programme encourages schools to put on after school clubs or lunchtime clubs for the pupils. The schools then organise games and leagues between other schools either in their cluster or within the authority.
This was the first hockey meeting between the two after school clubs and it was a huge success. Parents, coaches and teachers came along to support the event at Gullane Primary School. The schools will meet again this week at Dirleton Primary School for more run and games.
