Junior hockey clubs support the Gullane annual U10/U12 hockey tournament in Haddington.
Last month Gullane Junior Hockey Club hosted their annual U10 and U12 tournament. It was supported by all the other junior clubs in East Lothian - Haddington, Meadowmill, Fidra and Dunbar. Eight teams competed in each age group with over 140 kids participating throughout the day. There was a tuck shop run by the parents, which served up homemade soup and tray bakes, hot dogs, tea and coffee.
The event was hugely supported by all the parents and pupils from North Berwick who umpired all the games. Senior pupils from other high schools were there to help the club coaches manage the junior teams. The day was a great example of sportsmanship and teamwork with clubs and school pupils coming toegether to make it a successful and popular event in the calendar.
Dunbar and Gullane clubs won the U10 and U12 tournaments, respectively. Gullane Junior Hockey Club would like to thank everyone for their support!
