Prestonpans Primary School are the newly crowned winners of the 2015 Douglas Allan Shield indoor 5 aside football competition.
After a closely contested final with last year’s winners Windygoul they eventually edged it in a very tense penalty shootout decider.
Throughout the competition there was some excellent football being played and some top class goals being scored from all schools who took part in the qualifiers and again with the 8 teams who successfully made it through to the finals.
Prestonpans though looked a strong force throughout the finals by playing some quality passing moves and working hard for each other and was no surprise to find themselves in the final and eventually become the winners.
Well done to all teams who participated this year in what was a thoroughly entertaining competition from start to finish.
