The last competition in East Lothian's Junior Golf Race to The Open was held at Castle Park Golf Club on Sunday 23rd June. Kindly run by the Stephen Gallacher Foundation and hosted by Castle Park Golf Club, this was the last chance for players to score points in the Race to The Open. After a long dry spell unfortunately conditions weren’t great with some heavy down pours so well done to all 43 players that braved the elements.
The best round of the day, for the second consecutive competition, went to Aaron Hall who completed the shortened 9 hole course in an excellent 32 shots to win the Under 12 boys section. Other category winners were:
Under 14 Girls - Megan Linton
Under 10 Girls – Annie Wilson
Under 10 Boys - tied 1st Cameron Johnstone and Aidan O'Hagan

Congratulations to the top 12 handicap players and top 12 non-handicap players who will now be invited to attend The Open at Muirfield (details will be emailed to the qualifiers)
If you are highlighted in Yellow you will be invited to attend on Monday 15th July.
If you are highlighted in Green you will be invited to attend on Tuesday 16th July.
