#RossSwim Team Dominate EL Meet

Ross HS lead the way at the recent East Lothian Swim Meet.

The Ross High School Swim Team recently took part in a East Lothian Secondary Schools Swimming Compeition, based at Musselburgh Sports Centre.

The pupils did their school and community extremely proud.  Together with Miss Protheroe and Mrs Russell they massed at the side of the pool, and prepared for the day long competition.

Though the competition was open to S1, S2 and S3 pupils, Ross HS did not have any S3 boys, as such we did not compete in any of the S3 boys events.

Undeterred, the swimmers went straight into action.

We achieved an amazing set of results, with 15 1^st Places, 4 2^nd Places and one 3^rd Place.

It was a great team effort resulting in Ross HS winning the S1 and S2 competitions, and narrowly missing out on the overall competition and finishing 2^nd.  A fantastic effort from everyone, and huge thank you to Miss Protheroe, Mrs Russell and all the organisers.  Bring on 2016!
