Congratulations to everyone who took part in Saltire's Annual 2 Piece and Micro Competition
Saltire Team Gymnastics held their Annual 2 Piece and Micro competition on Sunday 23rd November at Meadowmill Sports Centre. With over 200 gymnasts entered it was a busy day with 12 micro teams competing in the morning session and the floor and vault competition in the afternoon.
The micro competition was a great success with teams competing at level 5 and 6 in two different age categories. Teams came from as far as Irvine to compete and it was fantastic to see some new teams enter and join in the Teamgym competition.
The floor and vault competition ran smoothly with 200 gymnasts performing their routines and vaults which they had been preparing for the competition. After a great handstand competition to keep everyone going as the scores were calculated, the winners were announced with medals going to all clubs.
The club would like to thank all parents and gymnasts who volunteered to help on the day, on the door and with registration. We would not have been able to do it without you.
