Above is Sharon Humble, Head Coach at Dunbar Dolphins Amateur Swim Club

Sharon is the Head coach at our club and has been instrumental in ensuring that our club could continue to run despite COVID. She fully risk assessed our swim sessions and has kept herself informed on the latest guidelines to ensure all swim sessions run safely and smoothly. She has kept our poolside team of lifeguards and coaches focused and motivated in what have been extremely challenging circumstances.

Sharon also managed to run a sponsored swim event for the club and Christmas fun swims for all our members. She is brilliant at organising these type of events and can be relied on to deliver them safely and in a fun way. Sharon is genuinely committed to her role and  is full of energy and new ideas that have kept our club going. For example, she organised and ran an open water swimming programme for our members at Foxlake and was there every week for 8 weeks to ensure the sessions ran safely and that everyone did their best. She is an inspiration!

Well done Sharon. Amazing work. Well deserved!
