New coached tennis activity proves to be a huge success at Forester Park, Tranent.
The new tennis facility, with two full size courts, is now officially up and running in Tranent at Forester Park. The first coaching sessions have been a huge success, with nearly 50 children having attended the ‘Tennis Aces’ sessions thus far.
In this joint project between East Lothian Council, East Lothian Sports Development Team, EnjoyLeisure and Tennis Scotland, great encouragement can be taken from this positive start to the introduction of tennis in the area. Forester Park is now officially an LTA ‘Place to Play’ under “East Lothian Community Tennis” which offers FREE British Tennis Membership amongst many other benefits to those who wish to join!
