Pupils from Dunbar, North Berwick and Knox perform well at the Scottish Schools Track & Field Championships
There were some excellent results at the Scottish Schools Track & Field Championships by East Lothian athletes. The performance of the weekend came from Robert Ferguson (Dunbar Grammar) who won the A Boys High Jump with a new personal best of 2.00m. Jake Roulstone (pictured) (North Berwick HS) had an excellent weekend winning the C Boys 400m (54.03s) and a silver medal in the 200m (24.58s) and posting 12.40s in the 100m.
Dunbar Grammar fielded a strong team at the Championships in Grangemouth, with Gemma Bolton in the B Girls 100m, 200m and High Jump; Imogen Wilson in the D Girls 200m and finishing fourth in the Long Jump as well as Cameron Steven in the 800m and 1500m. Rachael Watson from Knox Academy finished 4th in her heat of the C Girls 800m.
Well done to all the East Lothian athletes involved on some excellent performances!
