It was a good night for Knox Academy at the Lothian Disability Sports Awards

Neil Howie

Ashleigh Lawson picked up the Endeavour Award, for her enthusiasm and commitment to sport. Ashleigh was a part of the Lothian Athletics squad which one the national event in March, pipping Highland to the title by one point. It was the first time Lothian had been victorious.

Neil Howie also picked up the Young Sportsperson of the Year Award, for his recent success in swimming. Neil has made huge strides since becoming involved in competitive swimming 3 years ago, and is now involved in Scottish Disability Swimming Squad, competing all over the UK and setting new PB’s regularly. He is certainly a Paralympic hopeful for the future.

Well done Ashleigh and Neil, everyone at Knox is extremely proud of your achievements.
