East Lothian hosts its first UKCC level 2 rugby coaching course.
The first UKCC level 2 rugby coaching course to take place in East Lothian is currently being run at Meadowmill Sports Centre. Coaches from as far afield as Carrick in Ayreshire and Hawick in the Borders enjoyed a packed weekend of coach education which included practical coaching sessions and indoor theory sessions.
The coaches will return to Meadowmill this Friday (3rd Aug) to complete the final session of the course. The competency based course is the next step in the coaching progression from the UKCC level 1 course which has been run successfully in East Lothian over the last 3 years.
